This event will take place at The Grange, a site used for LARP and Airsoft events regularly with an interesting environment that keeps most locations quite close together but not overlooked by each other.

Next to the Marquee is a private house where people live. They are used to people being on-site for events but if you're in the Marquee or near the house gardens after 21:00 please be quiet and considerate.

What facilities are available on-site?

There is a gender neutral toilet block with four fully enclosed stalls, two of which also have showers. There are three washbasins and mirrors above them in a common shared area.

These facilities are quite basic to look at but do work. As a septic tank is used for sewage, please do not flush anything beyond human waste and toilet paper down the toilets. If you are using face paint etc. please be considerate and ensure you clean up after yourself.

Outside the toilet block is a sink for washing up any cooking pans/utensils and also filling water bottles etc.

There is another toilet available in the Café during its opening hours.

If you urgently need to charge devices there is mains power in the Crew Hut and the Marquee but there are a limited number of sockets and this is not close to where you are camped so we advise having USB power banks etc. enough to be self sufficient for the duration of the weekend.

How do I reach the site by public transport?

As per the instructions on the Grange website, Berkswell is the nearest train station which is a good 15 minute walk from the site. Compared to a lot of LARP sites this is pretty good but that's still a long way to carry more than a trivial amount of kit. There are buses (88A) that help with the journey but not on Sundays. You will probably need to use a local taxi or speak to another attendee about a lift. If you're going to do the latter please arrange this well in advance.

If I arrive by car/van where should I park?

On arrival you are fine to drive your vehicle carefully onto the camping field to unload, but please be aware the ground can be soft and uneven. Once unloaded please move your vehicle back to the car park.

There is a farm style gate on the road leading to the bulk of the site, please close it after you have driven through.

Can I bring a camper van or caravan?

Yes, but you should park it in the main car park. The turn into the car park is quite tight.

Is there on-site catering?

Near the car park is a Café that will be open some of the day, usually morning through to late afternoon. We will list the opening times nearer the event, once we have them. It sells mostly light snacks such as toasted sandwiches, sweets, crisps and hot & cold drinks.

There is also full a catering option for the event provided by the site themselves that costs an additional amount and needs to be booked with them. We will provide a link to this once we have it. Breakfast and lunch are served in the Café while dinner is served in the Marquee.

Can I cook my own food?

There is no on-site kitchen for player/crew use but the use of your own camping stoves in the camping area is permitted.

Are there bunks on site?

No, this is a camping event so you will need to bring your tent or find alternative accommodation off site.  The nearest hotel is roughly 1 mile away which is a short drive along roads that mostly have foot paths.

Can I have a campfire?

The only place open fires are allowed is the Fire Pit area at the back of the camping field. In common with most UKLTA events we will have a social meetup at the Fire Pit after the end of play on Friday and Saturday night.
